First at the depot...

The delivery staff at PIN AG are one of the main cornerstones of the company and are very popular all over Berlin. As a delivery person, you work one third of your time in the depot and two thirds of your time on your delivery tour. In the depots, the items are first sorted into their basic categories (e.g. letters and goods) before the individual delivery teams take over the fine-tuning at the block sorting shelves. This means that you and your team sort the mail by street and house number.

...then on tour

On your route, afterwards, you will be out and about on your own, getting to know every hallway and every letterbox step by step - until you are a true professional. Of course, you should be weatherproof and not be afraid of exercise, because just like cycling, climbing stairs may also be part of it. In addition to the typical green bikes and e-bikes, scooters, Paxsters (an electric vehicle) and handcarts are also used in the outer regions and in the inner city areas.

All our employees show what they are made of every day. Starting with the sorters, who have the first contact with our shipments in the sorting center and coordinate everything so that they arrive at the right location in the morning.

To ensure this, our truck drivers are on the road early every day and deliver to all our locations. Our delivery staff then make sure that every item arrives in our customers' letterboxes within no time at all.

The journey of a letter

Have you ever asked yourself what the journey of a letter looks like? Now is the opportunity to give you an answer to this question and take you on its journey.

First: whether it's a secret, romantic love letter, a nice vacation greeting from grandma and grandpa or a very important business letter, we are happy to receive every letter.

A magical journey

It all starts with thoughts, ideas or wishes that are waiting to be shared. The finished letter is placed in an envelope and a PIN stamp is affixed to it. You can buy our stamps at your local EDEKA, in one of our 100 partner stores, or simply order them online.

As soon as you have placed the stamp on the envelope and put it in one of our countless letterboxes, the magical journey begins. Our letterboxes are emptied every working day and all the letters are then taken to our sorting department. This is also where your letter is sorted and forwarded to its destination.

A circle that closes

Once it arrives at the depot, our delivery staff pack it into a letter cart and deliver it by bike. On its way, the letter travels through many streets, past houses, parks and people who are filled with their own thoughts and ideas. Until the letter finally ends up in the mailbox of the right person.

And so the circle closes - from a thought or an idea, to the love and care of writing, to the magical journey through the world of mail and finally into the mailbox of the recipient.
